Sea of Adventure
Newport Harbor Nautical Museum, 2010A history exhibit, a science exhibit and a celebration of the human desire to explore and discover. Sea of Adventure takes visitors on a historical journey across the oceans and under the waves. From the earliest Phoenician explorers to modern-day scientific expeditions, this exhibit highlights why we explore, where we explore and how we explore to world’s oceans.
My responsibilities included content and story development, research and fact-checking.

From backyards to wilderness areas, I write about how, why and where modern life interacts with the natural world. My assignments span a variety of issues, subjects and places: clouded leopard conservation in Thailand, climate change in American forests and mushroom foraging in the Blue Ridge Mountains. My work appears in magazines, websites and museum exhibits.
