International Fund for Animal Welfare
In the last two years, IFAW’s rapidly expanding international whale protection and conservation program has launched a new website, developed rigorous educational materials, and dramatically expanded their online and social media outreach. Cristina works closely with IFAW’s Whale Program staff to develop a communications plan and associated materials that will inspire IFAW’s international audience to take action for whales around the world.

Cristina Santiestevan is an environmental writer and communications consultant. She writes about issues as varied as clouded leopards in Thailand, climate change in American forests and mushroom foraging in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her work appears in magazines, museum exhibits and nonprofit publications.
