Since 2000, Cristina Santiestevan has worked on more than a dozen museum exhibits, tackling roles from writer to project manager and principal investigator. Her exhibit projects have ranged from long-term, two-story installations to quick-turnaround exhibit labels and signs designed to communicate recent events to museum visitors.

Cristina Santiestevan is an environmental writer and communications consultant. She writes about issues as varied as clouded leopards in Thailand, climate change in American forests and mushroom foraging in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her work appears in magazines, museum exhibits and nonprofit publications.
